Natural
Therapy Information
People are often tired of constantly relying on medicines to
deal with their pain. This is why we offer information and the availability
of various natural therapies any of which may turn out to be just the
treatment you need to overcome your ailment or to simply treat yourself to
some pampering!
Here at Verissima House we also hold various events
throughout the year that offer many of these services in shorter
appointments so that you can try them on a more casual basis.

Naturopath -
with a passion for preventing & maintaining good health. Specialising
in Iridology, Herbs, Relaxation Massage, Homeopathy, Nutrition and Bach
Flowers.
I studied
for the Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy which included extensive clinic
experience at Paramount College in Malaga, Perth. Post graduate
studies included - Homeopathy in Calcutta, which included work in the
local slum clinics and Iridology at the School of Iris in Melbourne.
I have a
background in nursing and care work specializing in aged care and
disabilities.
The basis of Naturopathy is the philosophy of the "healing power of
nature". The body has its own healing energy within and with the help
of naturopathic support,
the
body
can
repair itself and recover from illness
if
it is in good health. My aim as a Naturopath is to treat the whole
person, not just the disease.

My
first love has been with homoeopathy. Over the last 23 years I have
fumbled my way thru flu’s, colds, asthma, skin issues accidents and
operations with my family leading me further into the homoeopathic world
and now have been a registered homoeopath for the last 7 years.
The
wholistic and individual approach of homoeopathy I find very
satisfying for both my self and for my clients.
After
getting stuck with one of my children’s healing I found that the
Kinesiology helped clear blockages. This was my introduction to this
modality and find it a great back up with a similar wholistic and
individual approach which is why they two modalities can work in so well
together.
My own
asthma and sinus issues began to clear remarkably with the adjunct of
using a neti pot, this has been a follow thru from a past career in
production pottery. They are sooo beneficial aiding the natural
cleansing of the body by itself.
My
plan is to support my clients as best I can on their own journey to ease
from a place of dis ease and once they are there, to aid them in
maintaining their ease. |
